Jim Tatum was a multi-faceted human being: ethical, loyal, generous and patriotic. Jim enjoyed reading and gaming and he loved his cat. Interactions with Jim were interesting because of his strong intellect, willingness to learn, and witty, dry sense of humor. The Fighting Tater Award is intended for a graduate who embodies some of these characteristics.
A selection committee made up of Jim's family and friends will review essays that are written according to guidelines that in many ways reflect discussion topics that would be of interest to Jim, with preference given to wit, humor and intellect. Eligibility Requirements |
