Foundation Scholarships
- Dr. Edward B. Turchick Memorial Scholarship ($2,000.00) - awarded to a Glendale senior student who has completed an exemplary community-oriented OR school-oriented project, fills out a descriptive project questionnaire, earned a 90% grade point average, fills out the 'student scholarship information form', and gives a 3-5 minute presentation about the project to judges (*the 3 members of the Foundation Scholarship subcommittee). This scholarship was named in honor of Dr. Turchick, who, besides serving as Glendale's superintendent for many years, was a charter member of our Foundation--guiding us through the difficult early years of the organization. **In addition, this particular scholarship is endowed by an anonymous donor**
- Glendale Educational-Community Scholarship ($500.00) – randomly drawn from a list of select student candidates who have earned a minimum 90% GPA, have completed the 'local scholarship information' form and have been accepted to an institute of higher education.
- Building Futures Scholarship ($1,000.00) - awarded to a Glendale senior student accepted into any career-focused vocational-technical or trade school--with the intention of completing the degree requirements to acquire an academic certificate in that specific trade or vocation.
